The Luton and Dunstable Hospital secured PS99.5m in Government funding in August 2019 to redevelop the hospital site. There are two key elements to the scheme; 1.Critical Care - a new three story critical care building with office accommodation. Construction anticipated to commence in 2020 and complete 2021 2.Acute Services Block - a new five story building housing a delivery suite, maternity wards, neonatal unit, and operating theatres.
