Notice Description

Broadland Housing Group (BHG) has a requirement for furniture items for its housing schemes. Many of these schemes are for elderly people. The purpose of this RFQ is to obtain a priced list of standard furniture items required at BHG's schemes, to be called off as and when required. Furniture must comply with the following regulations: *Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989 & 1993) *All upholstered items must have fire resistant filling material. *All upholstered items must pass the "match resistance test" as prescribed. *All upholstered items must also pass the "cigarette test" as prescribed. *Relevant safety standards: BS7176, BS7177 & BS5867 *Relevant safety standards: BS4875
