This is a soft market test to engage possible suppliers in advance of procurement for Ash Dieback (ADB) Tree Felling works along the highway network and other land holdings across West Sussex. Overview of Work to Date and Aspirations Strategic Context West Sussex County Council is responsible for ensuring the safety of our highways and other land holdings. This includes ensuring that dead, dying and diseased trees which could fall or lose branches onto roads or pathways and impede the movement of traffic, or otherwise put the users of the highway in danger are appropriately dealt with.
