Notice Title
Tinth Anniversary PR Campaign
Notice Description
We are looking for a company/organisation with a proven track record to develop an overarching PR plan for the 'Tinth Anniversary Festival' and programme to enhance these with strategic communications activity. The Cornish Mining World Heritage Site is inscribed for the outstanding survival of the mining landscape from the period 1700-1914, when technological improvements in Cornish mining made a key contribution to the development of industrialised society throughout the world. As well as mine sites, it includes all those features that reflect how mining transformed the landscape, including towns, villages, harbours, transport links and industries associated with mining. The CMWHS Management Plan 2013-18 included as a strategic action the pursuit of a festival of cultural events in 2016 to celebrate the anniversary of 10 years as a WHS. A steering group of culture sector specialists oversaw the development of a suitably impactful programme, selecting productions to cover Cornwall and West Devon but with PR reach beyond. By making a substantial investment in a number of events and grouping these together under one branded programme - the "Tinth Anniversary" - with an investment in co-ordinated PR we aim to optimise media impact and generate positive public response. To ensure maximum public awareness and participation, all "Tinth" commissioned events are required to produce an individual communications plan. Requirements * A sustained PR campaign highlighting the multi-faceted content of the overall "Tinth" programme; * Targeted dynamic and forward thinking support for the two anchor events that complements and adds value to their individual communication plans * Cost effective approaches to supporting PR for all individual events; * An increased presence in local, national and international press. * Summative evaluation of the campaign results and lessons learned Suppliers would be expected to form an accurate and detailed proposal to include: * Deliverables; * Approach for delivery; * Scope and constraints; * Assumptions; * Risks; * Roles and responsibilities; * Costs, both for implementation and ongoing support/maintenance; * Plans, work packages and milestones; * Any value-added elements you could deliver which exceed the requirements.
