Notice Description

Kent Connects is a successful, nationally recognised multi-agency partnership of public service providers, comprising all Kent and Medway councils, Kent Police, Kent Fire & Rescue Service and South East Commissioning Support Unit (SECSU). Established in 2002 as an e-Government partnership, Kent Connects is funded by its partners with Kent County Council (KCC) as the Contracting Authority. With ICT and Digital as the backbone to the most public service functions, technology is recognised as one of the keys to successful and efficient services. Kent Connects has already invested in a single, county wide IT infrastructure (both technology and people). Outline Scope of Work The Kent Connects Action Plan outlines core projects that have been identified by partners to take forward on their behalf. Several will be delivered by the Partnership Office but the additional projects outlined below, sponsored by the Joint Kent Chief Executives, have been identified as part of the 'Futures' work.
