Mental Health Roles Working Across Community Learning Partnership - Early Engagement Event

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS NOW CLOSED Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group would like to invite suitably qualified providers to attend a Market Engagement Event which will inform the market of their intentions to procure Educational Mental Health Services in Somerset educational settings which will: * provide basic training in interventions including resilience building programmes such as emotion coaching and Mindfulness approaches to staff in schools and colleges which can in turn be cascaded to children and young people * Provide support and consultation for schools and colleges in developing a culture of openness and through emotional health and wellbeing education. We will join this work up with initiatives taking place within Public Health. * Provide joint casework to support school-based staff working with more vulnerable children and young people with a particular focus on Children Looked After, children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, special educational needs and those in contact with the Criminal Justice system. It is envisaged that the tender documentation for the procurement of these services will be available from September 2016, with an anticipated service commencement date of January 2017. A separate advert will be published to alert interested parties when the tender documentation is available. The Market Engagement Event will be held on 20th June 2016 between 14:00 - 16:00 at Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group, Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR. Providers wishing to attend the Market Engagement Event should email using the subject line "SCW/NHS11XCCG/E002/2016" to express their intention to attend to: WH.Procurement@swcsu.nhs.uk by 9am on Monday 20th June with the following details: Name of attendee(s) Job Title of attendee(s) Organisation details, including address and contact details. Please note the attendance will be limited to 2 attendees per organisation. In the event you are unable to attend but would like to receive a copy of any presentation materials, please send an email to WH.Procurement@swcsu.nhs.uk and copies will be sent to you. An expression of interest to attend this Market Engagement Event is no indication of a commitment to participate in the future tender process nor does it infer any special status on those Providers who do attend. An expression of interest in this event will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise. Any procurement conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it is published. Providers who do not attend this Market Engagement Event will still be able to apply for the Procurement in the future. Please note that this Market Engagement Event does not represent a formal stage in the procurement process and attendance will play no part in any subsequent evaluation process.
