Summary of the contracting process

The Skills Funding Agency is seeking to procure an organisation to deliver Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) services aimed at young people in the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership area. This procurement process, which is currently at the award stage, has a total contract value of £4,259,000 and was formally published on 3rd June 2016. The contract period runs from 1st January 2017 to 30th March 2018. Interested parties must be registered on the SFA Register of Training Organisations as of April 2016 and indicate their capability in delivering various educational provisions relevant to individuals identified as NEET (not in education, employment, or training).

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in education and training services, particularly those focused on apprenticeships and support for underprivileged youth. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community sector enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, especially those with a proven track record in delivering educational services and guidance. Businesses that can demonstrate experience in community learning, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), and skills support for the unemployed would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract.

The SFA is looking to procure an organisation to deliver Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to young people in the Leeds City region Local Enterprise (LEP) area Additional information: It should be noted that the SFA uses its own e-tendering portal provided as a managed service and that is the only means that responses to this ITT will be allowed Only organisations which on the SFA Register of Training Organisations at April 2016 will be invited to this tender . They also must have indicated in their submission that they were interested in delivering in this LEP area , were interested in delivering provision to individuals identified as NEET 15-2 4 and passed delivery of education and training and selecting the following options: * 16-18 Apprenticeships * 19-23 Apprenticeships * 24 Plus Apprenticeships * Traineeships * Skills for Life * Pre-employment training * Community Learning * ESOL * Skills support for the unemployed * Candidates passing delivery of Information, advice and guidance
