Notice Title

Preliminary Market Consultation - Town Centre Regeneration Opportunity, Alexandra Docks & Town Centre Sites, Grimsby

Notice Description

North East Lincolnshire Council (the Authority) is undertaking Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) on its proposal to procure a strategic development partner to lead delivery and bring forward the regeneration of the Alexandra Docks area in Grimsby and deliver the regeneration of a number of key town centre sites it owns. This is the market's opportunity to express its views on the Authority's current requirements, outline market developments and generally influence how solutions to the Authority's needs might be met. There is nothing for the Authority to evaluate or select in this activity. Neither the PIN nor the PMC is a call for competition. Following PMC, the Authority may conclude that procurement is not the best solution to meet a particular strategy outcome. The Authority may conclude that it would be better to do something entirely different to the intent within this PMC. It is essential that any organisation participating in the PMC understands that a procurement opportunity is not guaranteed. Equally, involvement in the PMC by an organisation does not affect its positioning either positively or negatively should a procurement opportunity arise subsequently. The Authority will be hosting a meet the buyer event on the 25th July 2023 at 2pm via TEAMs to provide an overview of its initial ideas contained in the PMC. There will also be time for questions. If you wish to attend the event, which will be 90 minutes, please send a message via the YORtender, including the e-mail address of the individual(s) who would like to attend. An invite will then be sent out. The event will be recorded and the recording, along with any questions and answers will be uploaded to YORtender following the event. Responses to the PMC questionnaire must be submitted via YORtender by 12:00pm (midday) on the 8th August 2023. To find out more and access the PMC documentation and questionnaire, please visit - https://yortender.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=YORTENDER and search for the opportunity using reference number identified this notice.
