Notice Description

The Authority has a requirement for Freight Searching in Northern France and Belgium. This requirement is in two lots, the first being Manned Freight Searching at the Juxtaposed Controls in northern France and the second in the provision of search dogs and their handlers at the Juxtaposed Controls in Northern France and at the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium. This procurement is in two lots. Lot 1 - Manned Freight Search - C8875 Provision of a Manned Freight Search service at the Juxtaposed Controls in Northern France. The Supplier will conduct both external and internal search of Freight and Tourist vehicles searching for hidden persons seeking to evade border controls. Lot 2 - C19784 Provision of Body Detection Dogs and their Handlers to search for and detect live hidden persons in freight and tourist vehicles seeking to evade usual border controls. Additional information: Maximum number of lots that may be awarded to one tenderer: 1 The contracting authority reserves the right to award contracts combining the following lots or groups of lots: The Supplier must advise in its Tender Response which is its preferred lot, should they submit a bid for both.Before being given access to the Home Office e-sourcing portal, where the Tender Documents and Data Room is held, Suppliers will be required to sign the Authority's Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA). A scanned copy of the wet signature should be sent via email to antonia.whiting1@homeoffice.gov.ukThe terms of the NDA are non-negotiable and your unequivocal acceptance of those therein are required to proceed with this opportunity.
