Notice Description

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust requires an external specialist organisation to provide two bespoke Mental Health Training Packages for its staff. We require the following training: 1. Mental Health Awareness Training for new Wellbeing Champions The aim is to train 100 x Wellbeing Champions who can provide peer to peer mental health support to colleagues. We require up to 16 Wellbeing Champions to attend each cohort. This will be a half day course via MS Teams. Courses will commence 04/10/2022 and continue on a weekly basis until all initial Wellbeing Champions are trained. 2. Mental Health Awareness Training for Managers The aim is to train approximately 500 x Managers (which could include those who are new to managements through to our senior leadership team). We require up to 16 Managers to attend each cohort. This will be a half day course via MS Teams. Courses will commence in November 2022 (dates to be confirmed) and it is expected they will be completed by March 2023. The supplier will be expected to deliver approx two courses per week (on a different days of the week). When the initial 100 x Wellbeing Champions and 500 x Managers have been trained, any further courses will be booked as and when required. The contract will run from October 2022 - October 2025, with the option to extend by two further periods of up to twelve months.
