Course relates to: Ofsted Requirements Course Content: Planning for First Aid emergencies involving babies and children Dealing with emergencies involving babies and children Resuscitating babies and children Recognising and responding appropriately to: * Anaphylactic shock * Electric shock * Bleeding * Poisoning * The emergency needs of babies and children with chronic medical conditions including: epilepsy, asthma, sickle cell, diabetes, meningitis and other serious sudden illnesses Responding appropriately to: * Burns and scalds * Choking * Suspected fractures * Head, neck and back injuries * Foreign bodies in eyes, ears and noses * Eye injuries in babies and children * Bites and stings * Febrile convulsions Responding appropriately to the effects of extreme heat and cold Number of places: 16 Facilitator: Principle Training ED1255 - PS575 per course No VAT 5 Courses - PS2,875
