Notice Description

Overall objective: provide an independent assessment of the second phase of the Mondi-WWF partnership's achievements over the last three years (2017-2020). This assessment will also include suggestions of opportunities for a possible renewal in terms of deliverables and directions. Background In 2014, following many years of collaboration in South Africa and Russia, Mondi Group and WWF launched a global partnership to promote responsible forestry and a sustainable pulp and packaging sector. In 2017, this global partnership was extended for another three years. In 2018 the management of the partnership was transferred from WWF-Intl to WWF-UK. This current phase ends in July 2020. The partnership was developed with the aim to explore, develop and share innovative approaches that will help Mondi meet customer needs while at the same time reducing its impact on the environment by focusing on three of the biggest challenges facing humanity: deforestation, water scarcity and climate change. The programmatic work of the partnership is delivered by the Forest, Freshwater and Climate Practices, WWF-South Africa, WWF-Austria, WWF-Russia, WWF-Bulgaria, Forest Practice global experts embedded or contracted via WWF-Sweden and WWF-Germany. Communications lead for the partnership is provided by WWF-International. Please express interest/pitch by 1st July. Deadline for written submission 8th July. The budget is EUR 30,000 including expenses Response Instructions: We invite proposals from interested parties.
