Each solenoid / bank of solenoids will require a 13amp unswitched fuse spur. - A Gas Detection System that will monitor Carbon Dioxide, Flammable Gases and Oxygen Depletion within all labs - Install of a main Gas Detection panel in the building foyer. The control panel will provide audible and visual indication of the sensors that are located within each Lab, this will also have volt free contact for the BMS system - Status Room Indicators / Beacon Sounders will be located at the Entrance/Exits to the working areas and with the Laboratory areas, which will be linked into to the Solenoid. The Room Status Indicator / Beacon Sounders will alert the users as to when unsafe levels of gas are sensed and / or when the oxygen within air has been depleted. - The Gas Detection will consist of the following items per floor / room:- * Building Gas Detection Panel * Room Indicator * Oxygen Depletion Sensors * Carbon Dioxide Sensors * Flammable Sensors * Surface Mounted Conduits * Installation * Commission * Demonstration - All pipework will be degreased copper to BS EN 13348 table x R250 with joints brazed using a fluxless jointing technique and utilising an inert gas shield, pipelines will be identified as appropriate. - All pipework will be 316 Stainless Steel, with all joints twin ferrule type, pipelines will be identified as appropriate. - The above installation and all associated ancillaries will be installed to N.5 Purity (99.999%) unless stated otherwise. - Upon completion the installation will be subject to a pressure test and commissioned, all appropriate certification will be issued. - All works will be carried out in accordance with BCGA codes of practice. - The Contractor is to provide a programme a draft programme of works as part of the tender return - On completion of each installation the necessary tests must be carried out and test certificates prepared and recorded. - Install of an IGD system.
