Notice Title

(NU/2001) Longitudinal Business Survey

Notice Description

The Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre (Creative PEC), which is hosted by Newcastle University, and CoSTAR Foresight Lab, which is based at Goldsmiths University of London, will establish a multi-wave longitudinal business survey to track firm behaviours and performance in the creative industries, and to understand the adoption and impact of advanced media technologies. The survey will be known publicly as the Creative Business Panel and referred to as the 'study' in the remainder of this document. This tender seeks bids to develop, manage and deliver the study. It will be administered by Creative PEC with support from CoSTAR Foresight Lab, and the accompanying Technical Requirement provides detailed information regarding the nature and scope of the proposed work. The intention is that the successful bidder will develop an underpinning questionnaire in June 2024, cognitively test and pilot an associated quantitative survey in July 2024, and launch the first wave of the main stage survey in September 2024. The study will run until September 2028. **Newcastle University is not classified as a contracting authority and as such is not obliged to comply with Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR), and for the avoidance of doubt, this opportunity is not being tendered as a regulated procedure under PCR but will follow an equivalent procedure deemed by the University to be fair and transparent.**
