The software needs to capture property maintenance and compliance data that should feed a planned maintenance register. The software should capture the Property Facilities Management Helpdesk functionality and drive a reactive maintenance programme. The Cambridgeshire County Council Estate comprises three core portfolios: 1. Operational council property, ranging from schools to highways depots, including approximately 565 core property assets 2. A 33,000 acre rural estate comprising approximately 200 tenanted farms 3. A substantial investment portfolio The property asset management system is required to provide full capabilities in recording and managing all of the property interests and assets in the operational and rural portfolios. This will facilitate a full spectrum of estate and asset management functions for these diverse portfolios. The Investment portfolio is presently managed externally but core data on the assets will be held on the system.
