Notice Title

LongOps Next Generation Digital Mock Up

Notice Description

REFER to FIND a TENDER SERVICE ENTRY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY With rapidly advancing capability emerging from the field of robotic technology and systems engineering, UKAEA are seeking services to deliver innovation around a Next Generation Digital Mock-Up (NG-DMU). This would result in a platform that is essentially an aggregation of selected black-box software components that can be replaced or extended with minimal development effort, ultimately aiding the adoption of DMU tools by end-users. The high-level outcomes of this task are: * design techniques for architecting a DMU system that enabled rapid integration of new innovations, * a proof-of-principle demonstration of these techniques by integrating software tools into a cohesive DMU, * a core platform for demonstrating relevant innovations from throughout the LongOps programme, regarding LongOps end-user scenarios.
