Notice Description

The University of Birmingham invited tenders for supply of a quantum stabilisation platform for the motion control of quantum gravimeter systems. The stabilisation platform workstation will form part of a physical demonstrator, i.e. facilities created as part of the Quantum Technologies Hub - the EPSRC funded project. This will be used to ensure vertical alignment of an atom interferometer quantum sensor during mobile operation & provide vibration isolation so that the sensor doesn't exceed its dynamic range. The equipment is an essential integral part of the sensor suite to be used in the real-world map-matching activity. The requested equipment will be integrated into the field-capable gravity gradiometer. Overall budget for this item is up to PS300,000.00 excluding VAT, including delivery to the University of Birmingham, training and manuals and warranties over the length of the Quantum Technologies Hub grant i.e. 30th November 2024.
