Contract Summary
The NVG Course is a 1-day course delivered at the Centre for Aviation Medicine (CAM) at RAF Henlow comprising theoretical and practical training. It is regarded as essential to ensure the safe operation of night vision equipment and is thus essential to overall flight safety and other environments which use NVG. The lectures cover subjects such as NVG construction, accurate fitting, and safe adjustment of the NVG's, understanding the night environment, human factors and accident analysis relating to NVG's. The course is delivered by CAM instructors or visiting aircrew instructors and meets the following requirements: NATO AAMedP 1.2, NATO AAMedP 1.13 and MAA RA 2135.
