Notice Title

Crossing Patrol Cameras

Notice Description

This item is a requirement for the school crossing patrol department (lollipop ladies and gents) to ensure the safety of the staff and the public when the children and parents are crossing the road at designated School Crossing Sites to enter and exit the school premises. These CCTV badges would be used for shifts covering the morning school drop off and afternoon school pick up. They would be able record any incidents of any drive throughs and or traffic accidents and/or assist the Police with evidential footage as and when required. These would be replacing the previous (now defunct) badges whose maintenance costs and software licenses became prohibitively expensive as well as outdated. These also support the Council's lone worker policy.
