Notice Description

Cheltenham Borough Council is creating a BMX Pump Track and access path at its Burrows Playing Field. This project is to appoint a contractor to deliver the construction works to deliver the completed facility. The Works include site clearance, excavation, and construction of the facility. It is recommended that tenderers visit the Burrows Playing Field to be fully aware of the proposed locations and conditions. Alternative construction to that specified, that does not change the approved dimensions of the facility will be considered but will require full client approval. The conditions of contract will be the NEC3 'Engineering and Construction Short Contract' (ECSC2) as published for the Institution of Civil Engineers by Thomas Telford in June 2005 and amended September 2011. In accordance with The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 the Employer will be the Client and Principal Designer, and the Contractor will carry out the role of Principal Contractor.
