Capital Works Contractors Framework

Notice Description

The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea is proposing to place a four year construction framework agreement to support its housing capital investment programme. It is intended that the framework will commence in December 2019 in sufficient time to deliver the capital programme commencing financial year 2020/2021. Over the term of the agreements the anticipated combined spend will be in the order of PS150m with the addition of a new build element. There framework will divided into a number of Lots. It is expected that the Lots will be: Lot Constructors 1 Lifts 2 M&E 3 District Heating Systems 4 Internal/External Work schemes < PS1m including major voids 5 Internal/External Work schemes > PS1m 6 New Build On 9 May 2019 the Council will be holding an event for potential bidders when the structure and further details of the framework will be presented. The time of this event is 09.30 - 12.00. The address where the presentation will be held is The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, The Hub, Unit A, 300 Kensal Road, London, W10 5BE. Please provide names of attendees to karen.tait-lane@rbkc.gov.uk Tenders will be invited through an OJEU process via the restricted procedure. We expect to issue the Contract Notice during June 2019.
