Library at Home Service The Bristol Library Service commission and support the delivery of outreach services, including the At Home Library Service which supports those who are unable to physically visit a library; due to their vulnerability, long term health problems, learning needs or mobility issues. The At Home Library Service is also available to those living in long term care. It is important to recognise that people have the right to access a range of activities and opportunities which promote wellbeing, regardless of whether they live in their own home or in a sheltered or residential care setting. The At Home Library Service is available to anyone living in Bristol who cannot otherwise access Library Services. in particular: * People who are unable to get into a local Library, and who may live alone or who are isolated and including people in long term care and in sheltered housing communities * Those who are vulnerable and have long term physical, learning or health needs that prevent them from accessing Library services. * Carers (including young carers) who as a result of their caring responsibilities are unable to access Library facilities. Additional information: The Bristol Library Service commission and support the delivery of outreach services, including the At Home Library Service which supports those who are unable to physically visit a library; due to their vulnerability, long term health problems, learning needs or mobility issues.
