Notice Description

The proposed works comprise: In general, the works comprise the installation of a external metal staircase for roof access to the Virgil Building, formation of a new opening from Level 4 onto the roof and creation of internal corridor internally leading to the roof access point. The extent of works includes: - Make openings to roof parapets to receive metal staircases - Supply and installation of 1no. metal staircase to access high level roof - Formation of new external door opening from Level 4 - Creation of new internal corridor - Supply and installation of protection metal rails around sky lights - Supply and installation of new bird netting to accommodate new roof access at all roof levels - Reinstate building fabric, roof coverings, lightning conductors & electrical cabling including containments etc. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Delta Access Code is: H8B72XW8P9
