Notice Description

Assistive Technology Supported in Living Flats The use of assistive technology within social care environments is becoming increasingly of interest to the care market as a means of increasing service user independence, reducing risk to service users and staff, and making the most of resources which are becoming increasingly under pressure from reduced local authority funding. The Council, in partnership with Fortis Living and Autism West Midlands is developing a scheme of eight supported living flats, along with a communal area, staff hub and gardens.
