Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process involves Cornwall Council seeking a Joint Venture Partner for a soft market assessment aimed at constructing 1,000 homes within key towns in Cornwall. The initiative, part of the Council's Housing Development Programme, is in the planning stage, with important milestones such as the engagement end date set for 23rd February 2018. This assessment is aimed at understanding market opportunities and gathering insights on potential partner organisations. The relevant industry category includes Real Estate Services and Construction Work, and the focus is within the South West region of England.

This tender presents significant opportunities for property developers, construction firms, and housing management agencies looking to expand their market presence. Businesses with expertise in the construction of residential properties and those providing management services for both affordable and private rental homes would be particularly well-suited to compete for this opportunity. Companies that can demonstrate a solid understanding of local housing needs and community-focused development initiatives will likely resonate with the Council's objectives to meet housing demand while supporting local communities.
