Notice Description

UEA School of Health Sciences (HSC) have received some funding to research Motor Neurone Disease. The University is seeking to establish a contract for an online bespoke system to deliver interventions for families with motor neurone disease. The system will be a three way portal facilitating assessments and therapy for families living with motor neurone disease, training for NHS professionals and a research hub. This will be a unique system and if it is a success, will attract further funding to extend the life of the system beyond year 1. It is critical that any proposed solution can be supported and maintained by the successful supplier for a minimum of 10 years. If the system is successful the University would also like to licence others to use the system for a not for profit fee which will cover future updates and developments to the system. Currently the University is in the process of bidding for a research cost extension to cover this procurement. It is anticipated that approval will be granted in October 2020. The University has some funding so would like to commence development as soon as possible.
