Notice Description

NHS Isle of Wight (IOW) Clinical Commissioning Group (host) and Isle of Wight NHS Trust, invite interested parties to tender for a contract for the Supply of Wound Care Products Into the Community & TVN Financial Support. The Contracting Authorities require a wound care ordering system and Contractor to deliver wound care products directly to the general practices/nursing homes and the community nurse hubs (Newport, Sandown and Ryde, plus several satellite hubs). The Contracting Authority(s) are also seeking financial support for (1.5 WTE) Tissue Viability Nurses (TVNs), at NHS Agenda for Change Band 6, to be employed by the IOW NHS Trust and integrated within the community nursing team, to provide outreach into the community to deliver integrated complex wound care across the island, focusing on areas where there is greatest clinical need. Further details can be found in the Service Specification within the ITT Document set. The contract value includes optional extension periods - see tender documents for further information The ITT process is being managed by NHS South of England Procurement Services (SoEPS) using the In-tend electronic tendering portal. To access the ITT documents, interested parties will need to register (free of charge) as per the guidance below. Instructions for Registering on the SoEPS Commissioning Support In-tend e-Tendering Portal NB If you are already registered on the portal, login as usual and go to step 8. 1. Browse to the SoEPS Commissioning Support portal - https://in-tendhost.co.uk/soepscommissioning 2. Click the "Register" link on the left-hand side of the page. 3. Enter your correct business and user details. 4. Note the email address chosen and Click "Register My Company" when complete. 5. You will receive an email with your unique password (keep this secure) 6. Login to the portal with the username/password. 7. You will be prompted to change your password on first login. 8. Hover your mouse over the "Tenders" button on the main toolbar and choose the following option: 'Current' which shows a list of all the advertised opportunities on the system (i.e. open to all) 9. Scroll through the opportunities and select 'F12954'.
