Notice Description

Prepaid cards, which are similar to a debit card, were primarily used to replace the manual distribution of cash to Client Finance service users (those subject to an appointeeship / Court of Protection deputyship) and for the direct payment to service users in Adults and Children social care. Following the implementation, the offer of a card for a direct payment for Adult Services has ceased. There are currently three active programmes using prepaid cards, provided to the council by Prepaid Card Financial Services (PFS): * Client Finance Programme * Direct Payments - Children's Services * Corporate Procurement Programme.
