The development of nationally significant water supply infrastructure is a positive step towards ensuring resilient supplies of water. This requires new and innovative thinking around the way that we regulate water supply infrastructure. You will be responsible for: Shaping the policy framework for how we regulate infrastructure projects under different commercial models to encourage the long term development of water supply options. Exploring the opportunities for wholesale water markets and trading, including bulk transfers between water companies, and water trading models to efficient allocate water between different types of user Shaping the key commercial principles that ensure that costs, risk and rewards are allocated in a way that ensure that the interests of water customers are protected and that outcomes are delivered.
