Red Kite Community Housing Decorations and Repairs Contract
Notice Description
Red Kite sought expressions of interest from suitably skilled and experienced Contractors for the provision of decoration and repair works across its property portfolio comprising c. 6,700 dwellings. Red Kite sought to appoint a single Contractor under a JCT Measured Term Contract (as amended) for a maximum of 5 years: the Contract was due run for an initial period of 3 years, with the option to extend by up to two further periods of 1 year. Works under the Contract were due to comprise decorations and pre-paint repairs, rendering and pointing works, wash down of existing PVC surfaces, new fascia soffits and rainwater goods, external works such as fencing, paths and hardstanding works and other associated repairs from a schedule of rates. The estimated annual value of the Contract is between PS1.3m and PS1.5m. Red Kite sought to procure the new Contract under a two-stage 'Restricted' procedure in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
