Supply Chain Notice: EOI - BLD-0109-01 Workshop relocation
Notice Description
HM Naval Base Portsmouth The Supplier shall be expected to adhere by the HMNB site security requirements, all suppliers and Sub-Contractors visiting site shall be BPSS security vetted and will be required to hold the relevant site security passes. KBS Maritime EOI - BLD-0109-01 Workshop relocation KBS Maritime is a joint venture between KBR and BAE Systems, bringing together two global players with a rich heritage of delivering excellence, innovation and reliability. Part of the UK Ministry of Defence's (MOD) Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP), KBS Maritime will provide technology-led and data-driven facilities management and dockside services at the base. Undertake a planning exercise (with the detailed input of building users) to determine the exact quantities of the significant stock that are to be moved into each new location. This is to include requirements for moving existing racking and any new storage racking if required. Area circa PS1000m2. Undertake a planning exercise with the building users to determine how ownership of stock shall be passed between building owner and contractor during the works, and the process for continuous ('live') documentation, stock taking, and active stock location. Undertake a review of space requirement for items of equipment (band saw, guillotine, etc.) being moved including MHE track-runs, and parking space requirements. Undertake a review of the electrical and structural requirements for items of equipment being moved from and adequacy of the existing electrical infrastructure in the new locations. Undertake a review of the proposed gas bottle storage area, ensuring compliance with the relevant gas storage standards. (250 gas bottles) Detailed plan showing exactly where the stock, racking, and equipment is to be relocated within the new locations. This shall include a proposed sequence of relocation works. The Contractor is responsible for design, installation, and inspections, of all temporary works required to safely undertake works. The contractor is to undertake the duties of Temporary Works coordinator on behalf of KBS Maritime.
