The Welcome Back Fund is providing Local Authorities across England a share of PS56 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to support the safe return to high streets and help build back better from the pandemic. Nottingham City Council has allocated a portion of its awarded Welcome Back Fund to stage a series of events, aiming to entice both residents and tourists back into the city. The projects aim is to increase footfall in the city. Nottingham City Council are seeking proposals from artists and creatives to provide interventions in our City Centre locations, during the February half term 2022 (12th - 20th of February 2022). This may form a trail of installations, attracting a family audience into the city centre, encouraging exploration and repeat visits.
