Notice Description

Central Bedfordshire Council is looking for an experienced and qualified contractor to carry out Boiler Replacement works for our housing property at 12-30 Albert Court, Dunstable, LU6 3SP. The property serves 20 units. Works include the removal and replacement of heating boilers, water heater, flues, insulation, control panel, circulation pumps, control and isolation valves and distribution pipework in the boiler room. We are seeking a contractor who can display a high level of customer care for our residents, who are primarily elderly or vulnerable, while providing an efficient and effective service. It is intended that the contract will start in April 2019 and take 8 weeks to complete. Work needs to be carried out urgently, so the contractor must be able to achieve this timeframe. Help and Support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can to help guide you though the Tender process. Questions asked together with the response, will be made available to all firms quoting, to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all. If there is anything you are not sure of or need clarification of, then please contact us using the correspondence facility within the In-tend system. Please review the 'Clarification' tab for any update or responses to any questions raised. Deadline for Expressions of interest and availability of downloading documents Tuesday 5th March 2019.
