Notice Title

Development and Execution of a Place Brand for Slough

Notice Description

The Council and a variety of partners have recognised the need to bring all place messaging and collateral together under one umbrella to create uniformity, alignment and recognition. In doing this, it needs to develop the one approach, the one narrative and the one Place Vision. This needs to be appropriate to businesses of the Borough, Developers who are helping us regenerate Slough and our communities who need to feel part of the growth and see the benefits of this growth on them. It also needs to attract further investment and occupiers for the offices that are being built. The Place Narrative is not owned by just one partner or just the Council, it needs to be 'owned' by all and partners/stakeholders, they all need to feel a sense of pride of place. The Council will lead on this piece of work but will not be the sole stakeholder. Strong engagement and partnership working are required to ensure a fully owned and collaborative perspective is taken. The current climate highlights the importance of this more than ever; raising confidence and collaboration as we shift from response to emerge towards recovery and renewal.
