Provision of an Integrated Assessment of the Council's Local Plan
Notice Description
Bury Council is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified consultancy to undertake an Integrated Assessment (IA) of our emerging Local Plan in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework and national guidance contained in the Planning Practice Guidance (PPG). This will form an integral part of the evidence base to underpin the Local Plan and will ensure that sustainability, equality and health factors have been fully considered at each stage of the plan preparation. The IA should fully appraise reasonable alternatives and potential site allocations. The stages of plan preparation are as follows: Consult of Local Plan Options Report along with an Integrated Appraisal of Options - October 2018 Consult on Draft Local Plan along with draft Integrated Assessment. - Spring 2019 Consult on Submission Local Plan along with final draft Integrated Assessment - Winter 2019 Submit Local Plan to the Secretary of State along with final Integrated Assessment - Spring 2020 Please note that the above timescale is indicative Full details of the requirement are contained within the quotation documents which will be made available following expressing an interest.
