Summary of the contracting process

The North East Lincolnshire Council is undertaking a public procurement process for "Speech and Language Therapy Services" aimed at providing therapy support for children under five, as well as outreach support for young people aged five to sixteen in the Yorkshire and the Humber region. Element 1 - Speech and Language Therapy deploys provision via an integrated model based in and around ourFamily Hubs (Children Centres) using an integrated pathway that initially uses the 2 year Speech, Languageand Communication Measure' by Family Hub staff, and dependant on the outcome of the measure, leads toreferral to Speech and Language Therapist assessment. Provided to children under 5 years of age. Element 2 - A language outreach support service for pupils 5 - 16 years of age with high need speech communication difficulties is also included in the service. The service is 'term-time' provision only. This element of therapy support provides assessment, therapy and support for children, young people and their families
