EME - Medical Devices Maintenance
Notice Description
The Trust requires support in safely managing our medical devices and ensuring that the they are maintained appropriately. We require support to continually provide those services which it is commissioned to deliver the standards in relation to the management of medical devices. This includes: * Details of warranty terms and end date (the provider must not be undertaking work covered within the warranty period) * How each device is maintained and repaired, and by whom * Arrangements for planned maintenance and repair * Arrangements for the most suitable persons/providers to carry out the work * Arrangements to ensure items subject to inspection, maintenance, repair or disposal are decontaminated beforehand * The timescale for planned maintenance * The timescale for repairs to be completed * Providing a maintenance database validated for its intended use and functionality.
