The asset types are all key tools in monitoring the network and the ones that are subject to this procurement can be described as: Variable Messaging Signs (VMS) are the electronic overhead signs used to inform and direct users on the SRN Signals assist the management of the SRN by also informing the road user on a smaller surface, usually used for lane specific advice, restrictions and warnings that apply to individual lanes.
