Notice Description

As part of the transformation work being undertaken in Children's, Families, Learning and Communities Directorates (CFLC) SCC has launched the Surrey Children's Services Academy (SCSA) The aim of the SCSA is to support newly formed Safeguarding Hubs, Family Safeguarding teams and SCSA partners with their recruitment, retention and development of a Surrey wide workforce who will be supporting children and families from 1 April. Membership of the SCSA is drawn (currently) from SCC, Health, Police, Education and the private, voluntary, independent and fait sectors. The SCSA will promote a training offer designed to support SCSA staff and better partnership working. As well as providing traditional classroom interventions the SCSA wish to promote the use of online learning, including the provision of online social care / work repositories provided by well-established, reputable and nationally recognised organisations.
