DInfoCom/0114 Provision of ICS Ops Firmbase Support

Notice Description

In the absence of a military SO2 there is a need for contracted support to provide the skills, experience and capacity to manage the following projects and initiatives allowing other elements of ICS Ops to deal with other major projects including: MODNET Windows 10 refresh; Enterprise Voice; hardware issues on the MODNET S migration; SECRET Uplift Requirements capture; Fixed Voice SECRET; and standalone ICT rationalisation. a. DBI. Management of ongoing expansion of DBI and "DBI Light", small moves and changes and service management and exploitation of the capability. b. SCIDA as a Service. Monitor performance of the SCIDA Service delivered by Defence Digital from Apr 2020. c. Obsolescent services. Management of the project to discover obsolescent point to point services across the Army estate and plans to mitigate their removal. This activity may deliver efficiencies. d. Outages. In the event of an ongoing military gap there is also the need to manage Firm Base ICS outages across the Army estate. e. Specialist support to voice services. Additionally, SME support to ICS Ops to enable effective management of the exploitation of Enterprise Voice, exploitation of efficiencies to be realised from the delivery of EV and delivery of mobility services and of SECRET voice services. This activity may assist delivery of efficiencies. f. Sustainable ICT. This is an area demanding increasing attention.
