Notice Description

The Authority invites applications from suitably experienced providers who wish to be considered for selection to apply for admission to the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Learning and Development Services. The DPS is due to go live on 29th June 2017 and will operate for a period of up to 10 years, to be reviewed annually. The Council offers three lots under the DPS which are: Lot 1: Apprenticeship Programmes; Lot 2: First Aid and Health and Safety Training; Lot 3: Generic Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Activity for Isle of Wight Council staff (including leadership and management, HR, communication, equality and diversity and other similar programmes; Providers can submit their response for any or all of the lots listed above. Additional information: The Freedom of Information Act (FOI) 2000 which came into force on 1.1.2005 applies to the Authority. If any tenderer considers that any information supplied by them is either commercially sensitive or confidential in nature, this should be highlighted and the reasons for its sensitivity specified. A schedule is provided within the PQQ where potential providers can record and submit this information to the Authority. In such cases the relevant material will, in response to FOI requests, be examined in light of exemptions provided for in this act. The contract(s) shall be made in English and according to English Law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. Any values listed in this contract notice are indicative and are given for the whole potential DPS period. The duration(s) given provide for the whole potential DPS period. Once the DPS is live, the Authority reserves the right not to make any award(s). Further opportunities through the DPS once established will be advertised as mini competitions via the Portal, under the relevant Lot. Award of call-offs will be on the basis of price and quality but evaluations may be based on either Price Only, Quality Only or both Price and Quality depending on the requirement.
