Notice Description

The University is looking to establish a framework for ecological consultancy services to include but not limited to: o All aspects of Ecological work associated with planning including Preliminary Ecological Assessments (PEA); o European Protected Species Surveys (EPS); o Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW); o Environmental habitat management plans and implementation of mitigation measures; o Training on ecology surveys; o Attendance at relevant meetings; o Work collaboratively with the School of Biological Sciences and other University Staff/ Departments as advised. o Information for use in publications/ reports o Preparation and submission of both full Bat EPS Mitigation Licences and bat Low Impact Class Licence Site Registrations. o Environmental Incident investigation/ consultancy at any UEA site - this could include liaison with regulatory agencies such as Natural England and the Environment Agency o Undertaking biodiversity audits o Provision of Biodiversity Management Plans to British Standard BS 42020:2013 The successful ecological consultants will need to work collaboratively with the University to support growth and development alongside meeting our ecological responsibilities.
