3190_17(A) Supported Accommodation for Young People (16+) Retender
Notice Description
In this instance, ESPO is working on behalf of Leicestershire County Council to establish a multi supplier framework agreement for the provision of accommodation with varying levels of support for young people aged16+. The service will provide flats or rooms within shared housing, with support staff available on-site. The support element is aimed at providing service users with the life skills required to seek their own accommodation and sustain long-term independent tenancy. Eligible service users include young people aged 16+ who are looked after by or leaving the care of the Council, including unaccompanied asylum seekers (UASC) and those in the criminal justice system who cannot return home for bail or remand purposes. Lot No: 1 - Intensive Housing Management Supported Accommodation - 16+ Supported Accommodation Services. Lot No: 1.1 - Intensive Housing Management Supported Accommodation for UASC - Supported Accommodation Services. Lot No: 2 - Semi Independent Accommodation - 16+Supported Accommodation Services. Lot No: 2.1 - Semi Independent Accommodation for UASC Lot No: 2.2 - Semi Independent Accommodation for UASC aged 18+ Lot No: 3 - Independent Accommodation with Floating Support Lot No: 3.1 - Independent Accommodation with Floating Support for UASC Demand between the individual lots may vary as currently young people are placed in the accommodation available and not necessarily in accommodation that fully suits their needs. Overall demand is variable therefore a maximum total framework value is anticipated to be around PS5M. The framework agreement has the option to extend for up to a further 24 months. The total estimated value stated includes the option period.
