International Equity Finance Licenses
Notice Description
***This tender requirement was abandoned prior to a contract award decision because no compliant bids were received**** The final date and time for the submission of bids is Thursday 17th February 2022 at 2pm. DO NOT apply directly to the buyer. All tender information MUST be submitted through the Delta eSourcing Portal. How to Apply To register on the Delta eSourcing portal please use the link https://www.delta-esourcing.com/ and follow the instructions to register. If you are already registered on the Delta eSourcing Portal and wish to participate in this procurement, please use the link: https://www.delta-esourcing.com/ and the follow the instructions to 'Log in' Once you are logged into the system you can link yourself into this procurement using the following Access Codes: PJ7Z6E8597. All tender documentation will be included within the Delta Portal once accessed. Introduction The Business Growth directorate holds policy responsibility to ensure the small business finance markets in the UK are functioning correctly, with some of our work relating to private equity markets. The Business Growth Analysis and International division provides key analysis on equity finance deals, trends, and characteristics. In order to properly facilitate this objective, international comparison is necessary in order to best equip UK businesses and markets for the global market. We are already provided access to UK data from a separate UK-focused platform, however we require this additional access to this additional platform to receive information on global equity, especially the USA. Requirements To be delivered are 3 user licences for access to platform. This procurement would lead to 3 licences being provided to BGAI, which will allow download of data in CSV or Excel file, and also the appropriate training for platform usage and best practices. Training will be expected to be provided year on year. Key outputs from the platform will be quantitative data on investment deals, as well as specific company information for high growth companies operating in the UK and internationally (US data essential). The platform should enable users to query this data by criteria including location, sector, technology theme, size, company stage and type of investment. The platform also should allow users to sum company and investment data over specific time periods to produce aggregate statistics, the time period that the information should cover from is 2010. The international comparability of the data means it could be used to analyse the level of equity investment in UK against other countries. This will enable BGAI to identify areas where the UK has a large share of the global market and a potential comparative advantage. Additional information: DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO BUYER All submissions will be assessed in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations that apply to this opportunity. Responses must be received by the date and time in the tender documentation; responses received outside of the deadline or not sent via the Delta eSourcing portal will not be accepted or considered by the Contracting Authority further for this opportunity. Interested organisations should ensure that they allow a sufficiency of time, prior to the deadline to allow all sections to be completed in full and any attachments to be uploaded. As a user of the Delta eSourcing Portal you will have access to the Delta messaging service which facilitates all messages sent to you and from you, as well as other messages and updates in relation to any specific tender event. Please note that any and all information secured outside of the messaging service, shall have no merit or worth and should not be relied upon by any organisation submitting a tender response. Please note it is your organisations responsibility to access these messages on a regular basis to ensure you have sight of all relevant information applicable to this opportunity. If the Contracting Authority decides to enter into a contract with any successful organisation(s), this does not mean that there is any guarantee of subsequent contracts being awarded.
