Notice Description

The SESLIP encourages and supports the political and professional leadership and management of local authority Children's Services, to demonstrate, develop and share good practice. Our programmes support the development of Children's Services as learning organisations, focusing on: o identifying key strands of enquiry o analysing and comparing operational data about the services o using evidence to inform decisions, including evidence available from outside the region, where relevant o using peer challenge and peer review o building leadership capacity and capability o developing standards of practice through supportive endeavour There is a Regional Improvement Plan which sets out the activities. Its aim is to identify ways in which local authorities in the South East can support each other to improve and look at how collective action can help address systemic issues within the region. ESCC need to refresh the list of suitably qualified freelance consultants, who are available on an ad hoc basis to support one or more of the activities of the programme. Additional information: The application for the is to be completed electronically using the SE Shared Services Procurement eSourcing portal: https://www.sesharedservices.org.uk/esourcing/opportunities The SE Shared Services eSourcing portal provides a web-based tool that provides a simple, secure and efficient means for managing tendering and quotation activities reducing the time and effort required for both buyers and Potential Bidders. The portal allows for tender clarifications and submitting your bid electronically. In order to bid for this opportunity you will need to register your company on the SE Shared Services portal. IMPORTANT NOTE: Applicants can request documents throughout the duration of the Approved List. For the purposes of placing the advert on Contracts Finder, the system must state the document request date is prior to the contract start date. Call-Off Contracts may start at any point throughout the duration of the Approved List. The Approved List is live from 13 December 2021 until at least 12 December 2026.
