Cheshire Adults Community Equipment
Notice Description
Cheshire East Borough Council is seeking Suppliers to provide Community Equipment and the delivery of it. Equipment is provided when, by reason of a temporary or permanent disability or health needs, they require the provision of equipment on a temporary or permanent basis for daily independent living. This includes equipment for rehabilitation, long term care and support for formal and informal carers. It is also vital for hospital discharge, hospital admission avoidance, and nursing need. Cheshire East Borough Council will be setting up a framework for the supply of equipment along with their parners who are NHS Eastern Cheshire CCG, NHS South Cheshire CCG, NHS Vale Royal CCG, NHS West Cheshire CCG (Leaving the partnership 30th September 2016) and Cheshire West and Chester Council (Leaving the partnership 30th September 2016) The framework will be open for a number of other Local Authorities to join although there will be no guaranteed volumes. The framework will be split into 8 Lots: Lot 1 - Beds, Mattresses and Accessories Lot 2 - Mobile Hoists and Slings. Lot 3 - Standing Turners / Seated Transfers. Lot 4 - Lifting Cushions. Lot 5 - Bath Lifts. Lot 6 - Bathing / Toiltetin. Lot 7 - Safer Handling sheets. Lot 8 Emergency Provision. Multiple Suppliers will be appointed to Lots 1 - 7 inclusive and Lot 8 will be awarded to a single Supplier. The closing date for clarification questions will be 12 noon on 5th August 2016. The closing date for submissions will be 12 noon on Wednesday 17th August 2016. Only submissions submitted via The Chest before the deadline will be accepted.
