Notice Title

EPR Current State Mapping Process

Notice Description

The main objective of this project is to build an understanding of current working practices, what data is collected in which system and how information flows between departments and organisations. This is a critical starting point for the programme. To maximise the benefits from implementing a joint EPR across the three acute trusts, clinical workflows and documentation will largely need to be standardised. It is understood that at present, there is considerable variation in both workflows and documentation across the three trusts. Achieving the desired and necessary levels of standardisation requires considerable collaboration across the three Trusts. Alongside the agreed joint acute clinical ambitions and plan to establish specialty-level clinical networks across the three acute trusts, this project will start to bring together teams from each of the three Trusts, as well as provide us with the visibility of our current working practices.
