PLEASE APPLY VIA THE KENT BUSINESS PORTAL & REGISTER HERE FOR FURTHER DETAILS: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=525fa4f8-4484-ec11-8110-005056b64545&p=8691483f-2f3d-e711-80e1-005056b64545 Medway Council is looking to appoint a marketing agency to promote the High Street Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) located at the intersection of Chatham and Rochester High Street in the Star Hill to Sun Pier Conservation Area. The successful agency will be expected to support the Council to achieve its aim to improve perception and awareness of the HSHAZ. The Agency will be expected to contribute towards the increase of footfall in the area as monitored by Medway Council. Medway Council's vision for the HSHAZ is to transform the area into a creative cultural quarter, which builds on existing uses in the area and capitalises on its unique heritage. At the core of their vision is the delivery of a creative hub with 351 High Street (Chatham House) and The Waterworks Building at its heart. Historic England's HSHAZ Programme uses investment, in both physical improvements and cultural activities, as a tool for improving social, cultural, and economic outcomes of an area to regenerate struggling historic High Streets. It is the opinion of Historic England that a successful, vibrant high street acts as the focus of, not only local commerce, but also the local community.
