Notice Description

For the Met Office (MO) to trade effectively and to support our customers in achieving their goals, it is essential that staff are supported in developing the skills across the following areas: a) To optimise the performance of our people to negotiate successfully with a range of clients to achieve successful outcomes for both customers and the Met Office. b) To establish more strategic relationships with industry leaders and regulators and develop 'trusted advisor' relationships with clients, consulting on needs rather than selling products. c) To enable effective internal and external negotiations with colleagues, stakeholders and customers to drive performance for the whole organisation. The Met Office requires external training of its staff to enable a consistent approach to the delivery of the overarching outcomes as described above. We are aiming to implement a training framework split in to three Lots across the follow areas; Innovative Negotiation Training, Innovative Consultative Selling Training, General introductions to Innovative Sales & Marketing Training.
