Summary of the contracting process

The public procurement process involves Keele University seeking a comprehensive Network Access Control Solution. This tender falls under the software package and information systems category and is located in Keele, Staffordshire, West Midlands, United Kingdom. The tender is currently in the Active stage, with submissions due by 21 April 2020. The total estimated budget for the project is £47,947.80 excluding VAT and the contract is scheduled to commence on 11 May 2020 and conclude on 29 May 2020. This is an open procurement process allowing all interested suppliers to participate.

This opportunity is particularly suited for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialising in network hardware installation, network cabling, or software solutions, as well as those able to provide comprehensive support and installation services. As the tender is for a unified solution and not divided into lots, businesses that can offer an all-encompassing package to facilitate the improvement of network access and segmentation for a mixed-use environment will find this a valuable opportunity to expand their operations and showcase their capabilities in the educational sector.
